Well THAT didn’t take very long! Possibly the first wrecked regular production C7 Corvette has appeared for parts on Craigslist….

Located in Omaha, Nebraska… well, you know what? The image tells the whole story:

I guess “Mikey G” should stick to detailing and not driving. It’s clearly not his strong suit. I bet Trent, the owner, is livid. I’d be out for blood.

How about you? What’s the worst thing that’s ever happened to your car after leaving it in someone else’s care?

UPDATE Oct 16: It seems that Jalopnik covered a story on another C7 Corvette crash that was spotted by a Reddit user in this thread: http://www.reddit.com/r/Autos/comments/1o5zuz/he_didnt_make_it_very_long_c7_accident/

Hat tip to my friend and Auto Waffle Facebook follower Shawn for finding that.

Meanwhile, while these guys are out here destroying their new Vettes, I haven’t even seen one out in the wild yet. Life can be so unfair.

Fortunately my dad only broke one of my sun visor guides. Easy fix.

My roomate borrowed my brand new ford focus when I was in college, he hit a parking curb hard enough to bend the rims. But worse…he chain smoked in it.

Ouch! Almost no one from college was able to get behind the wheel of the wagon. I think, in the four years I was there, only three other people drove it.

I left my 77 custom van (shaggin’ wagon style) at the ford dealer for service, someone left it in lot unlocked and cleaned it out that night.
Stole .45cal that was hidden under the bed in a separate locked compartment, even took the police scanner mounted in the dash, along with the stereo and fosgate amp, and the sunroof over the bed!
